Marina Maljković

Serbia coach with an illustrious surname

Marina Maljković began her coaching career at the age of 16.

In addition to coaching Serbia, Maljkovic is the coach of Fenerbahçe and is looking to win the first Euroleague Women’s title for the Turkish team.

Graduated from the University for Coaches in Belgrade.
She is an Olympic bronze medalist and two-time European champion with Serbia (2015 and 2021, plus a bronze in 2019).
Euroleague 2023 with Turkish Fenerbahce.
In 2002 she became coach of the women’s section of KK Usce. Coach of youth teams in two years promoted the team from third to first division.
2009 signed with ZKK Partizan where she won four Serbian leagues, two cups and two Adriatic women’s leagues.
Serbian national champion for six consecutive seasons, and has won six “Coach of the Year” awards.
Maljković was assistant coach of the Serbia and Montenegro U18 national team that placed fourth at the 2004 European Championship in that category, as well as the U19 national team that won silver at the 2005 U19 World Basketball Championship.
In August 2011, Maljković was named Serbia’s senior national team coach.
Gold medal at Eurobasket 2015 in Budapest, qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games. (first time in history for the Serbian team).
